Mishara is the director and founder of the Centre for Research and Intervention on Suicide, Ethical Issues and End-of Life Practices (CRISE), and Psychology Professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He was formerly president of the Canadian and International Associations for Suicide Prevention.
