"De-Mystifying the Black Art of E3" fills a void in engineering education, long-overdue for the specialty of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3). In relatively simple language, it offers insight into the E3 mix of military and technical concepts that have baffled managers and military officers. This is unique. Because of Mr. Berman's many years in the business of E3, he is able to take complex ideas and make them understandable and usable, while inserting a bit of wit into the process.

Autorenporträt
Byron Berman's career spans over 41 years of hands-on experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) design, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) analysis and EMI testing of complex military and commercial electronic systems. His range of expertise includes classical electro-physics, engineering mathematics, microwave circuits and circuit theory. Mr. Berman works with high level proposal & contract documentation, as well as with the "nuts & bolts" of EMC design and testing. Even though Mr. Berman has received the coveted Eagle Award for "Blazing A Path To Mission Success", from the United States Government, he still considers the greatest compliment, that of an EMI technician, "It's always fun working with you, Byron!"
