The peoples covered in this book are not equal in their levels of culture, but we can of course divide them into three types: collectivists, pastoralists, and primitive farmers. They all live in simple groups, although the term "primitive" no longer applies to some of them, and others do not. They no longer exist, and in the latter case this research book examines their ways of living when Europeans first discovered them. The author took care to provide a geographical overview of the homeland of each people, and studied the impact of this homeland on their ways of life. He also mentioned in many cases the changes that occurred in the lives of the people as a result of their mixing with other races - especially the white race - although it was only slightly exposed. For religious beliefs, because delving into belief is not easy and because debate about it does not lead to a result.
