When was the last time you gave yourself permission to take a deep breath and pause? As much as we have invisioned what our lives should look like, things sometimes get chaotic. We are pushed in so many directions. In rushing, we make decisions based off of our emotions and end up making things more complicate. We find ourselves confused, angry, feeling hopeless and discouraged. It becomes difficult for us to focus because we are so distracted by all the mental noise. It makes it harder for us slow down long enough to see, that no matter how uncomfortable a thing is, no matter how unfair it may seem, no matter how much we want to retaliate or worst, give up; things really are working in our favor. We've got to start giving ourselves permission to take a deep breath and pause. Everything that happens in our lives, comes to teach and to grow us. When we slow down and calm our spirits, it allows us the opportunity to put things into perspective. We become better equip to handle the challenges that life brings our way. We are able to make wiser choices for our mental well being.
