Heterocyclic Chemistry is the main branch of organic chemistry as a result; chemist has approaches towards synthesis of fused heterocyclic compounds because of practical, theoretical, pharmaceutical, biological and medicinal point of view. The heterocyclic compounds are cyclic in nature which contains at least one hetero atom or non carbon atom in the ring structure. The most usually common hetero atoms are Nitrogen, Sulphur and Oxygen. The less common heterocyclic compounds which possess some other elements like phosphorus, silicon, arsenic, selenium, tin and boron has been a subject of much investigation in present years. The heterocyclic compounds having three to six carbons in ring structure they are myriad, but only those having five to six atoms in the ring structure are by far the most valuable in heterocyclic compounds.
