After surviving months at sea with five tons worth of pot - eluding authorities and surviving mammoth storms along the way - Gary Kinsey stepped off the boat and yelled to the skies, "Fuck you, Richard Nixon!" Kinsey was not only pissed at the President of the United States. He was pissed about the government's war on drugs, pissed that the authorities were taking away people's rights to smoke weed and be happy, pissed that our freedoms were being, well, fucked. After all, Kinsey, thought, what's wrong with a natural substance that helps people heal, relax, and be happy? Through a life that has taken him to Germany as an Army man and to Amsterdam as a physical therapy student, Kinsey has built his life and career around the power of pot. He used, he sold, he smuggled-and he has all the stories and life wisdom that comes from a life that hasn't always lined up with the law. But Kinsey has never much cared for what the authorities thought anyway. In The Man at the Table, Kinsey takes you through his unique life story-the (many!) women he's loved, the (tons of!) drugs he's smuggled, the (crazy!) adventures he's taken. Amidst it all, you'll find awe-inspiring moments intertwined with pearls of wisdom about what he has learned along the way.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Gary Kinsey was supposed to have a career selling insurance. But he decided long ago that life wasn't for him, so he left his hometown in Indiana to come to Florida to live near the water. Throughout his life, he's held many titles: military man, bartender, fisherman, physical therapist, drug smuggler, inmate, Uber driver, candy maker, and more. And now, the man with many stories of a life well-lived can add author to his list. The Man at the Table is his first book. Kinsey lives in Gainesville, Florida.
