Watershed Management Development Approach is the best approach in countries where their natural resource is depleted. This approach initially focuses in improving the natural resource base and eventually supports the livelihoods of the rural poor. This has confirmed by this work taking the basic indicators of food security, such as production, income and asset ownership, and so on. This work thoroughly analysis the impact of this watershed development approach in improving household food security, and should be useful to policy makers, practitioners, NGOs and so onto enable them select the appropriate approach in implementing their programmes.
