Gebeyehu was born on 25 January 1981 in North Shoa, Ethiopia. He obtained his first degree(B.ed)in July 2003 from Alemaya University. After years of services in different organizations, he joined the graduate program of Geo-information, Bahir Dar University for his second degree and he obtaind his M.Sc in july 2012.
