Although Derrick went on to become a stock analysis, Allen did not trust him where his company affairs were concerned. Lauryn on the other hand, was the kind and smiling daughter that never gave her parents any trouble growing up. Allen adored her; she went on to become a fashion designer in Paris. In the end Allen did a most unexpected thing. Something that Derrick could never imagine his father ever doing.
