Gillian Ashworth-Morritt was born in Sheffield, a Yorkshire miner's daughter. Always an avid reader as a child she was brought up on the likes of Roald Dahl, Doctor Zeus, Enid Blyton and Pam Eyres. Gillian trained as an intensive care nurse before settling on a career in medical sales. She is a mother of 3 and wicked stepmother to 2 (not quite as bad as Disney portrays them). She is grandmother to one and another one is in the oven. Gillian loves family, arts and creativity and has a twisted sense of humor which shows in her writing.
