Autorenporträt
Gillian E. Bowen is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Ancient Cultures at Monash University. She is deputy director of excavations at Kellis and Mut al-Kharab, director of excavations at Dayr Abu Matta, and numismatist for the Dakhleh Oasis Project. Her research focuses upon the archaeology of early Christianity in Egypt. She has excavated four fourth-century churches, including those at Kellis.
