In recent years important progress has been made in the design and analysis of feedback stabilizers for distributed parameter systems of importance in structural dynamics. In particular, the elastic multi-link structures have many applications in engineering, such as aircrafts, satellite antennas and so on. They are mathematically modeled by coupled plate, beam and/or wave equations (transmission systems) with damping. The transmission systems of plate, beam and/or wave equations attract much attention and have strong physical backgrounds, for example, it can describe the displacement of flexible structures consisting of two physically different types of materials. This book offers our recently results for the transmission systems of plate, beam and/or wave equations.
