ALARCON, MD, MPH, is an emeritus professor of psychiatry and psychology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, and the Honorio Delgado Chair (Psychiatry) at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Perú.
