d. kathleen delaney had her first written work published as a young student in 1990. Her articles and short fiction have since been featured in a variety of publications and blogs. She won the LaGrange College Writing Contest for 3 years in a row, between the years of 2001-2003. After 2.5 years of study, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art & Design in 2003. Kathleen has written a Young Adult Fiction novel, and is currently writing and illustrating several children's books. She is fluent in Spanish and building fluency in both ASL and Tagalog. Kathleen also spends her time tutoring individuals privately in a wide range of subjects, including English as a Second Language. She enjoys using her creativity to produce educational material for young learners. In addition to painting and drawing fine art for exhibitions, Kathleen stays busy with a wide variety of professional writing, illustration, and design projects through her freelance business, Mimosa Creations.
