PRABHAKAR MURTHY, PhD, is Professor of Engineering and Operations Management at the University of Queensland, St. Lucia, Australia. Together they have coauthored Reliability: Modeling, Prediction, and Optimization (Wiley); Warranty Cost Analysis; and Product Warranty Handbook.
