Produktbeschreibung
Douglas S. McLeroy shares an intimate story of belief and unbelief in this memoir. The author had to contend with the death of his parents, sister, brother, son-in-law, three grandchildren, and the near death of his wife. As a result, he knows all too well the deep pain of grief, the tough questions we all carry, and the struggle to believe in the midst of tragedy. The book also highlights the thirty years the author spent as a chaplain in the United States Army as well as the twenty-two years he provided pastoral care and counseling in churches. Journal entries from the author's diaries reflect the essence of his spiritual journey and the ministry he's been called to perform. Join the author as he observes how easy it is to believe when life is all sunshine - and much harder to believe when loss is so overwhelming.
