Doug Feldmann is a professor at Northern Kentucky University and a former scout for the Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, and San Diego Padres. Seven years after a collegiate career at Northern Illinois University, he played for the Beckemeyer Eagles in the Clinton County League from 1999 to 2001--the hometown of his father, John, who played professional baseball in the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox organizations. Doug is the author of twelve other books about some of the most beloved teams and figures in sports history. He lives in the Cincinnati area with his wife Angie, their son John, and their dog Dizzy.
