The New Right group in New Zealand believes that government should be separate from a country's economy. Its growth between 1984 and 1999 is set within its global economic and moral context in this study, providing a more accurate picture than that given by those who only see the reforms as part of the play of global capitalism or in terms of local personalities and agendas.
