The volume, appropriately, comes into our hands as a dialogue between two "old boys," veteran Scouts - as if sitting around the perennial evening camp fire. The two senior Scouts engage in their most precious roles as life-long Scouts: teachers, leaders, and members who respectfully and thoughtfully exchange ideas. They share with us the various visions of Scouting that still percolate, with grace, throughout the Movement, and how these visions continue to provide avenues for enormously constructive engagement with our contemporary world of both Scouts and Guides.
