Autorenporträt
I was born in Rockhampton, in the Lady Goodwin maternity ward in September 1958. Apparently, this ward later became a mental health unit. I must have had an impact even then. I have worked many jobs, including Forestry for almost 20 years, and a range of other shorter term jobs. Nothing like variety. I live in a small rural community of Byfield, in the greater Capricorn region, about an hour North East of Rockhampton in Central Queensland, Australia. In about 2012, I read an article about e books, and thought I might Have a go!' Apparently, my imagination is vivid, and all over the shop! I have begun explaining this as, 'My mind wanders. If anyone finds it, can they send it back?' I think it will have a fairly wild tale of where it has been. I wrote '5 Short stories' in 2012, as Don Bambrick, and during the process of submitting and so forth, have written another 6 short story books. The sixth is actually a work in progress.
