Autorenporträt
Forbidden is Don's first published novel, although he has more novels stored in an old, rusted Ford pickup parked behind his home near the long-abandoned Mineral Range Railroad tracks. After being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps, he practiced his trade as a carpenter and then as a building official until his retirement and resumed writing. In the summer, Don cuts and stacks lots and lots of firewood; in winter, he types lots and lots of words and, every few years, tosses another novel into the old Ford truck. He lives with his lovely wife Natalie and son Christian near the community of Keweenaw Bay on Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
