D. Gardner Stacy has spent a total of three and a half years in China, where he met his wife while working as an English and computer-oriented mathematics teacher at a technical college about fifty kilometers outside of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province in the Peoples Republic of China. Presently he and his wife live in Spokane, Washington.
