Donna Kay Davis, an accomplished Air Force wife and dedicated mother, is passionately committed to advocacy for Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) patients. Her journey began as a supportive military wife, but her son's HAE condition led her to become an integral member of the US HAE Association (haea.org). As a pioneer, she played a pivotal role in gaining FDA approval for the first HAE therapy in the United States, earning her the US HAEA Trail Blazer Award. Now semi-retired, she serves as an Armed Public Safety Officer for a hospital in St. Louis, her hometown. An outdoor enthusiast, Donna enjoys hiking with her dogs and fly fishing in Missouri's spring-fed rivers.
