Autorenporträt
Donna and Dan, her husband of forty-two years, live in a close-knit island community on Florida's Gulf Coast. Four generations of their family are native to this quaint fishing paradise, including their six children and several of their eleven grandchildren. Granny's Namesake was written almost twenty years ago as a gift to the author's three-year-old daughter and her mother-in-law. The book has been read over the years to her children and grandchildren. The pursuit to publish Granny's Namesake became the author's passion after the passing of her mother-in-law, Lillian Frances Honc, on December 12, 2017. Lillian's love for her family and her faith in God are legacies that each generation will carry with them.
