Dorothy Childress is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Dorothy will celebrate nine years of marriage to Charles Childress in 2021 and together they have one daughter (Little Miss Childress). She graduated from G.W. Carver High School in the top 10 percentile of her graduating class and was a member of the Beta Club for several years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Miles College, where she was also a member of the "Purple Marching Machine". Dorothy played clarinet & served as Section Leader her first two years of College. She was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 2006 and has been a Teen Church Director for over five years. Dorothy has a passion for writing poetry, short novels and of course books. This is the start of many books to be written.
