Dorothy Griffin has been married for forty-six years. She is a proud mother of three grown adult children and has nine grandchildren. Having earned a master's degree from Lamar University, she is now a Licensed Professional Counselor. She was children's church pastor for ten years, which inspired the writing of the children's books. Presently, she counsels women at the House of Destiny, a place for women to learn alternative lifestyles to drug use.
