The lady bird beetles population in all insecticide treatments was low as compared to untreated control indicating that all the insecticides were toxic to the predator. The treatment comprised of deltamethrin (1%) + trizophos (35%) @ 1250 ml/ha and cypermethrin (3%) + quinolphos (20%) @ 400 ml/ha were highly toxic to lady bird beetles whereas, pyriproxifen (5%) + fenpropathrin was comparatively safer.
