Doctors made a life-saving decision to remove her spleen. Since then, she has faced other daunting medical challenges, including a bone infection, bacterial meningitis that caused sepsis, and two major strokes. Through it all, Daveisha displayed unwavering determination, earning her the title of a true warrior. As a coping mechanism, writing became more than just a hobby for Daveisha; it became a lifeline. She discovered the therapeutic power of putting pen to paper and poured her heart into her debut book. This book is not just a collection of words; it is a testament to her resilience and an inspiring message to children facing cancer or any adversity in life.
