Autorenporträt
David James Knight earned his Bachelor of Arts in English magna cum laude from Florida International University with concentrations in medieval English literature, Latin, and comparative pre-modern cultures; he later studied conversational German. An Association for Renaissance Martial Arts (ARMA) Free Scholar and lifelong martial artist, David has trained in goju ryu, no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu, American folkstyle wrestling, U.S. military combatives, and a smattering of other styles in addition to European longsword, dagger, grappling, and polearm techniques. He currently instructs for the Mixed Martial Arts Club at Washington and Lee University, where he is finishing his law degree. He also serves in the Virginia Army National Guard and is a graduate of the ROTC program at nearby Virginia Military Institute.
