Autorenporträt
David W. Wilhelmus, JD, is a graduate of the University of Evansville, Western Michigan University and Indiana University. He has been a vocational rehabilitation counsellor, rehabilitation teacher for blind adults, coordinator of a special education cooperative for the education of blind and visually impaired children, trial lawyer specializing in disability law, university chair, library administrator, campus director and university professor. He has also been active in advancing the interest of the disabled for many years including having been appointed as a voting delegate to the 1977 White House Conference on the Handicapped. Dr. Wilhelmus has served on numerous profit and non-profit boards and has published law journal articles analyzing the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and promoting prison reform.
