Hussein Sakr and Dawn Fatima Shalhout are a husband-wife duo who co-author a variety of books for children and families. They are best known for their popular "Yusuf and Yasmeen" series, which introduces young readers to Islamic values and traditions through engaging stories and adventures. In addition to the "Yusuf and Yasmeen" books, Sakr and Shalhout have collaborated on other projects, including the "Biscuit and Gracie" comic strip series and educational coloring books such as "Everyday Duas: Coloring Book for Young Learners.
