About the Author

Dan Dafoe is a Canadian writer whose nose for humour landed him a weekly theatre column in his local newspaper. After university, and into parenthood, the distinctive style and voice in his writing naturally crossed over into the stories that he told his little girl, Olivia, at bedtime. With this, "Pooper Dooper Girl" was born, and became the recurring character in a number of stories that should make any little girl or boy laugh out loud - which is the best sound that any child can make!

About the Illustrator

Hali Letwin is an artist, and an elementary art and drama teacher in Ontario, Canada. Hali studied Visual Arts and Sociology at the University of Ottawa, where she explored the realms of sculpture, photography, film, painting, and drawing. She later pursued her Education degree at Trent University. Hali's own miniature dachshund, Rosie, is the inspiration behind the comical four-legged friend that follows along on Pooper Dooper Girl's adventures.
