Dan E. Ferguson and his wife moved to a new home after they lost their two beloved family dogs. No more dogs, he and his wife agreed. Moving was stressful enough without training a new puppy. And they were still grieving over their loss. Bereaved dog owners need an extra dose of comfort. As a pastor, Dan has worked with thousands of grieving people. He decided to write a book for dog owners. When, despite Dan and his wife's firm decision against another dog, a feisty Maltipoo named Peaches came into their lives, the book idea blossomed into life lessons from Peaches. A conversational tone and a good dose of humor color the many valuable lessons Peaches has taught Dan. He also compassionately presents reassurance to those who mourn the loss of a dog by providing hope and God's comfort through evidence of a dog heaven.
