In the past several years, new type of fertilizers with unique properties and a specific mode of action produced by nanotechnology became available on the market. The aim of this research was to examine the effect of two foliar calcite fertilizers produced by nanotechnology in rice production. The standard rice production technology in Republic of Macedonia includes basic crop fertilization and supplemental feeding with nitrogen fertilizers and complex mineral NPK fertilizers. Two studies were conducted involving two fertilizers evaluated in comparison to the standard fertilization, and a total of five cultivars. The findings from these studies, regarding the effect of the examined fertilizers on the plant height, stem height, panicle length, number of productive and non-productive tillers per meter square, biological yield, straw yield, paddy rice yield, grain moisture at harvest, one thousand grains weight of paddy, hectolitre mass of paddy, milling fractions (head rice yield- whole grains %, brokens, chalky grains, bran and hull) and the white rice yield are given in this publication.
