Autorenporträt
Danica King spent her childhood in Poughkeepsie, New York and has now made Richmond, Virginia her home. Danica was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 34. Danica is an active member in the MS community. Several years after her MS diagnosis and inspired by a book written by another MSer, Danica decided that it was imperative that she share her journey with others. She not only wanted to share her struggles with the disease, but her daily triumphs as well. Danica approaches living this new chapter of her life with resolve. She has made a conscious decision to use her story to encourage others not to allow their diagnosis to define them. Instead, she finds ways, no matter how small, to inspire others. Danica will show you that when you have a spirit that refuses to give up, anything is possible.
