Produktbeschreibung
Memory museum in Beirut is a project that, in a symbolical way, tells the story of the city during the times before, during and after the 15-years long civil war. In the foreground are the citizens Beiruts and their ethnically generated conflicts. The museum is non-conventional in its form, appearance and in its function, being a fully open public structure, accessible to anybody and anytime, thus enabling interaction between visitors. This project should create a means of connection between people, it should encourage a deeper reflection and should also emotionally communicate with its visitors. The leading idea behind this project is the attempt to create an alternative sight on Beirut's history and the wish to support the reconcilliation processes in this multi-religious society.
