Wilkins (PhD, Fuller Theological Seminary) is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of New Testament language and literature and former Dean of the faculty at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. He is the author of The Concept of Discipleship in Matthew's Gospel, Following the Master: A Biblical Theology of Discipleship, and the volume on Matthew in the NIV Application Commentary series.
