This study determines factors that impede teachers' performance in Senior High Schools in Cape Coast Metropolis in the Central Region of Ghana. The study adopted the descriptive survey design and covered nine Senior High Schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis of the Central Region of Ghana; comprising 145 males and 80 females. The main instrument used for the study was the questionnaire. The instrument was developed and piloted-tested by the researcher. The data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations. Findings and recommendations were given in the study.
