Autorenporträt
This is a unique story based on Daniela Standley's true-life events, spun into a fantasy. Standley has a deep passion and love for flowers and has worked with them in every aspect for more than forty-two years. She has a degree in horticulture and worked for the forest service as a wilderness protector. She has also opened, owned, and operated her own flower shop for fifteen years, which this story is loosely based on. After selling her shop, Standley started a floral landscaping business, which she has operated for sixteen years. Like Esme, Standley now lives in a cabin in the Rocky Mountains while managing her floral landscaping business. She hopes to inspire younger generations with this story to bring awareness to nature and flowers, as it's an industry she fears is overlooked in today's cyber world.
