This book was inspired as a defense of the greatest message the world has ever known, The Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone that believes; first to the Jew then to the Gentiles". We want and expect people to believe the gospel; salvation depends on it. Therefore, it is gravely imperative that we, who proclaim this sacred message, do so without using it for selfish gain or satisfy covetous appetites. All too often today, our Savior is being presented as one who exist to sate all of our materialistic longings. Like casinos that lure thousands with the hope of hitting it big, gospel carriers are perpetuating a false message of "Health Wealth and Prosperity" at the exclusion of one of service, sacrifice and stewardship.
