Darby Roach is an award-winning marketing professional with more than twenty-five years in the business. He is currently the principal and creative director of a highly successful Seattle-based agency, Orbit Direct Creative Marketing. Roach brings more to the table than his expertise in marketing. Before entering the field, he spent four years as a professor of design at the Penn State University School of Arts and Architecture and four years as an instructor at The Rhode Island School of Design, where he also earned a master of fine arts degree in graphic design. In his teaching and professional careers, he has tutored students, clients and colleagues in the art of using aesthetics to be more successful in all phases of their lives. In addition, Roach is a master communicator, having lectured on aesthetics and it’s impact on decision-making for the U.S. Postal Service and at Washington State University, among others. In his career, Roach has developed successful, high-profile marketing campaigns for Apple Computer, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Nike, Sun Computers, and Westin Hotels and Resorts to name just a few.
