Autorenporträt
My name is DEVONA-RAE and I have been writing on and off for years. I mostly dabbled in poetry but I was inspired by my daughter to write a children's book. I traveled with a family to the aquarium for my daughter's field trip and the father got out of the car and said that God spoke to him that when I was ready I was going to write a book. Taking my daughter to school one day and she just talked from the time she got in the car until we got to the school and I asked her London why do you talk so much? And she replied I don't talk a lot mommy I just have a lot to say. I wrote a children's book called Walki Talki that day. My daughter was four then she's a little older now she asked for Walki Talki for her bedtime story for a long time after. It wasn't until my brother's daughter my niece was read Walki Talki by her auntie as a bedtime story, she fell in love with it and asked her dad to read it to her every night. I said to myself, you should get this book published for other kids to have it as their bedtime stories also.
