Autorenporträt
Debabrata Madanray (born June 12, 1957) has authored thirty-two collections of short stories. He has received the prestigious Odisha Sahitya Academy award for the collection of short stories 'Sahajatri'. A retired bank officer, he devotes his time mainly to writing. He is also a long-time editor of a literary magazine 'Nabalipi' which has a wide readership in the state of Odisha. At present he lives in Cuttack, Odisha, India.
