Autorenporträt
Dede Peterson is a former elementary school teacher and the spouse of a retired USAF Officer. Currently she is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for St. Louis County where she advocates for children in the foster care system of Missouri. She and her husband, Kurt, live in St. Charles, MO with their fur child, Mabel the Mixed Mutt. (Julianne the Welsh Terrier was their beloved fur child for 12 wonderful years). Dede is an avid reader, belonging to two book clubs, and a bible study group. When her nose is not in a book, you'll catch her planning her next trip, as traveling is her greatest passion. This is her first children's book.Suzy Lorenz is a former high school art educator in St. Louis, Missouri. She received the High School Art Educator of the year award by the MAEA Association of Missouri in 2005. She is married to Dr. Michael Lorenz, DDS, and they have four children, six grandchildren, and three grand pups: Chip the Chihuahua, Scout the Jack Russell Terrier, and Stella the English Bulldog, who is introduced in our story. Suzy chooses watercolor as her medium to illustrate her artwork. She exhibits her work throughout the United States, and even had her paintings on display in the White House. This is her second children's book.
