The huge amounts of greenhouse gas emissions from various sectors have sped up the process of climate change. Transport sector being one of major source of CO2 emissions and energy use, has a major role to play in the process of climate change. Various initiatives and technological advancements have become a necessity to address the issue. This study is a quantitative analysis on how, advancement in technology and different sustainable initiatives impact the reduction of CO2 emissions and use of energy in the future years. The scope of the study is though limited to only city level, the purpose behind it is to understand how CO2 emissions can be impacted in a micro level, so that it can be multiplied in a macro (country) scale.
