In this work, will review the efforts that the Republic of Macedonia made for the promotion and positioning of the Republic of Macedonia as a tourist destination. The Republic of Macedonia in the last few years invested a lot of effort into the development and promotion of tourist products of the Republic of Macedonia and makes strategies, plans and programs to promote the tourism potential of the Republic of Macedonia. Also will explain the concept and models of competitiveness of tourist destination and through TTCI (Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index) to analyze and determine the competitive position of the Republic of Macedonia as a tourist destination. Besides TCCI will analyze and another indicator as tourist arrivals and receipts to get a better image of competitiveness of the Republic of Macedonia and its competitors. Also will make a survey at tourism fairs about the effectiveness of advertising policy of Macedonian tourism potential.
