Autorenporträt
Language lecturer and columnist Demetris Georgiades was born in Canada. Choosing to settle in Cyprus, he initially found the majority of Cypriots he encountered to be characterized by a very rudimentary form of crudeness and bluntness. Time, though, allowed him however to obtain a deeper, clearer understanding of the island¿s ethos.
