Dr. Desireè Kelly is a mental health advocate, public health specialist, and workforce well-being strategist. In the past five years, she has created mental health resources, mental illness educational campaigns, and workplace wellness content that has reached over 50,000 adults and adolescents in Tennessee. She has worked collaboratively with faith-based and non-profit organizations, corporations, and school systems since the start of COVID to promote mindfulness, wellness, and self-care in every environment. As a certified executive coach, she has experience coaching mid-level managers, executives, and entrepreneurs by integrating vision-focused strategies with comprehensive well-being approaches. Dr. Kelly has 27 years of combined experience as a public health speaker, content developer, and facilitator. Her specialty is developing and implementing curriculums on diverse topics related to public health, mental health, and self-care. She has given presentations on topics such as mental health stigma, workplace mental health, and suicide awareness across the United States for educators, mental health professionals, adults, and adolescents. She holds a Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science from the University of Memphis, a Master of Science in kinesiology from the University of Central Arkansas, and a Doctorate in public health from Capella University. She is also an adult Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Gateway Trainer and an Adverse Childhood Trauma (ACES) Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer. She recently received her certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida. She is an adjunct professor at several local colleges. During her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to books, watching television, and following her own self-care advice. The most important role in her life is being a mom to her teenager.
