Port-Harcourt is an emerging city with a lot of economic developments and activities. It is a capital city of River state of Nigeria where a greater quantity of oil is produced in Nigeria. As a result of these activities, mobility and accessibility of the urban residents to the various opportunities and land-uses in the urban centres have become a great concern. The study therefore focuses on addressing the mobility and accessibility gap, taking cognizance of the socio-economic characteristics of the urban residents etc. Gravity model was used to simulate the travel pattern of the urban residents in the various traffic zones. Recommendations and conclusions were drawn.
