I never thought of myself as a writer, because I was a trained singer most of my life. Then one day, this poem came to mind. I wrote it down and wondered if it could ever become a book. I never thought of myself as a writer, because I was a trained singer most of my life. Then one day, this poem came to mind. I wrote it down and wondered if it could ever become a book. This idea sat on the shelf for years as I carried on with my music. I searched for an illustrator for my book to no avail. Little did I know that I was supposed to illustrate it myself with this newfound gift to paint. No one was more surprised to discover this than I. The message that I have gifts and talents to develop and share with the world is a lesson that I would have loved to have learned as a child. Then, I thought, no, it is never too late! This is my message for this time in my life. So, I was inspired to share this message with all children and adults alike because we all hear little heart whispers. Most of them we ignore until we dare take the first step to make a dream come to life. I sure hope you dare to dance, sing, draw, paint, build, and dream . . . but don't stop there! Have the courage to listen to that little voice inside, the one that has been there all along: God's little whisper. Make it happen, little one!
